Do I really need to say anything about Queen? One of the most famous bands in history, you'd be hard pressed to find someone in England who doesn't know the words to at least part of Bohemian Rhapsody or Don't Stop Me Now. A Night at the Opera is their best work and covers an extraordinary amount of musical ground for a rock band, ranging from the aggressive rocker Death on Two Legs to the amusingly quirky Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon to the acoustic adventure story told in '39. They take a trip into prog land on The Prophet's Song with it's weird vocal canon section and then of course there's the big hit Bohemian Rhapsody. I love this album, a lot, and you should too.
